About the event

The mission of Calm Clarity is to improve collective well-being, develop inclusive leaders, and co-create a world where all human beings and communities thrive together. Our original, intuitive approach to mind-hacking makes it easy for people from diverse ages and backgrounds to use neuroscience and mindfulness to rewire their brain to experience greater wisdom, fulfillment, and joy. Learn more about us and our non-profit work here.

For Mental Health Awareness Month, we invite you to learn how to practice mindfulness as an investment in your own mental health. This live virtual workshop will share insights from contemplative neuroscience to empower you to practice mindfulness with more clarity and efficacy. During this workshop you will be guided to practice and experience how a variety of mindfulness techniques can serve as “work outs” for 4 key brain systems that enable you to concentrate, be self-aware, bounce back from setbacks, and build healthy connections.

Please take advantage of our various sliding scale scholarship programs below to join this event at a price you can afford. See details below and in the ticket options.

Joining this session will enable you to:

  • Connect mindfulness practices to the strengthening of 4 key brain systems: the attention system, the meta-awareness system, the resilience system, and the connection system.
  • Practice 4 different mindfulness techniques to experience the activation of each of these key brain systems.
  • Apply this knowledge to meditate more effectively and reap the benefits of a regular mindfulness practice.

Please note: There is no one-size-fits-all approach to mindfulness because of neurodiversity and trauma. Therefore, the goal of this workshop is to share knowledge that you can apply to tailor your own personal mindfulness practice to better suit your brain.

Recording and Hand-outs

This workshop will be recorded so participants can review the video. All participants will receive a PDF of the slide deck and be invited to a private space in the Calm Clarity Mighty Networks Platform where they can access the video.
